Thanks for Visiting

I’ve been away from the blog for some time now. I just wanted to take a minute and say thank you for visiting while I’ve been gone. I get a warm fuzzy every time I log on and see the number of visits on the stats chart.

I’ve been working on my vampire novel, fighting procrastination, unblocking writer’s block, trying to appease critique partners, listening to good advice from critique partners, adding another critique partner to my circle of readers, dealing with the loss of a network of women I admired and loved because the school where we taught closed, battling depression, taking another job I am overqualified for and underappreciated, and proofing three stories for an e-publisher – not necessarily in that order. I’ll post what my royalty check is when I receive it.  The three stories are found on Black Velvet Seductions.com. The titles are “Holly’s Big Bad Santa,” “Trusting Her,” and “Intimate Submission” in case you want to check them out. 

Wooo! Here’s to 2010. May this year comfort my sad heart, nurture my wounded spirit, and lift the dark clouds I live under now.
